    A 297 acre parcel maintained in its natural state as a preserve. Trails are well marked and allow for hiking and cross-country skiing across & through ponds, stream and meadows. Picnic area and free parking.

    A neighborhood park with athletic fields, two baseball diamonds, two tennis courts, two bocce courts and two playgrounds. Withing walking distance of Cos Cob School, Cos Cob Community Center and the Montgomery Pinetum.

  • Binney Park

    Sound Beach Ave & Arch St, Old Greenwich
    The home of one of the annual Fourth of July fireworks displays in Greenwich. Featuring a playground, four tennis courts, athletic fields and walking paths along the pond.

    The Mianus River Park, formerly the Goodbody Estate, straddles the Greenwich/Stamford border. Each municipality owns approximately an equal share: Greenwich 109.7 acres acquired in 1972 for $ 500,000 and Stamford 110.3 acres. The Park is open to residents of both communities during daylight hours.

    62 acre park with almost 100 varieties of conifers - adjacent to the Caldwell Wildlife Sanctuary. Pinetum has hiking trails, a garden center and library, an ice skating pond and picnic area.

  • Pemberwick Park

    Forty-four acres with tennis courts & playgrounds plus two natural areas featuring meadows, cattail marshes and woods.

  • Roger Sherman Baldwin Park

    Free summer concerts on Wednesday evenings during July & August. Parking for park and the nearby Island Beach ferries.

  • Great Captain Island

    It's a 1/2 hour ferry trip to this 17 acre island with beach, picnic area and camp site (permit & reservation required for camping). A Greenwich beach card required.

  • Greenwich Point
    Greenwich Point
    Open all year round - 147 acre beach with concession stand & ample parking. A Greenwich beach card is required.

  • Island Beach - Little Captain Island

    Twenty minute ferry ride - Popular beach with picnic area, concession stand, playground and camp area (permit & reservation required for camping). A Greenwich beach card required.


TENNIS

    There are thirty-six public tennis courts located throughout the town. Several of the courts are illuminated for nightime play. Tennis season is March - November, but some courts remain open year round.


GOLF

    An eighteen hole golf course operated by the Town Department of Parks & Recreation. Eighteen holes, putting green, pro shop, club house, driving range and restaurant. Greenwich residents and their guests only.

    Public Boating & Marina Options
    Greenwich has some of the best boating waters on Long Island Sound. There are 4 marinas available to Town of Greenwich residents, open from April 15 through November 15 each year.
